Look for the purple sign!
The tasting room is nestled at the bottom of a hill, in the middle of our family vineyards and an old stand of giant fir and pine trees. Our small batch, estate grown wines are served in this peaceful, country setting. We invite you to come relax in one of our many cozy outdoor areas and enjoy the friendly service and laid back atmosphere that make BCV a great place to be!
We are open Fridays from 4pm until 9pm, Saturdays from 12pm to 5pm (or 9pm on event days), and Sundays 12pm until 4pm.
Please note: BCV is a place for adults to relax and sip wine with other adults. We love children and dogs, too, but please do not bring them along when you visit.
A big thank you to all of the volunteers who helped us harvest our Chardonnay, Albarino and Riesling - we couldn't have done it without you! Let us know if you are interested in helping us pick our Cab Franc, Merlot and Cab Sauv! Hopefully, will be picking Thursday, October 5th or Friday, October 6. You can come for a couple of hours, or stay the whole day, whatever works for you. We have harvest shears, but you should wear garden gloves if you have them. We have some to share if you don't. Lunch, snacks and drinks will be provided and every volunteer will get a bottle of wine.
If you would like to help, please message us on FB or text 410-688-1447.
It is our goal to produce wines that express the beauty and spirit of the place we have come to know and love as Balla Cloiche Vineyards. We look forward to sharing them with you here, in their most natural setting. The hollow itself holds its own procession of seasonal beauty and an almost tangible sense of the good souls that have lived and worked here before us. Come bide a wee...or stop by and choose a bottle or two to take along and enjoy our estate grown wines in the comfort of your own quiet place. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do!
